View Full Version : A little AA advice from the experts please

My monk is level 30 and has 4/4/8 in the STR and INT lines.  I solo most of the time and am loving the damage output I'm getting.  Would I be best to carry on putting points into these 2 lines going into the defence side of it, or put points into another line?

For soloing, it is my firm belief that you will find Eagle Shriek and Chi substantially more beneficial than if you went down a 3rd tree.

<p>STR + INT lines are very solid for leveling, especially if you don't carry a healer around with you very often.</p>

So STR/INT AAs are great for leveling - good to know because im new and solo mostly.Should I be worrying about having any stat gear with INT at all?I have been focusing on STR>AGI>STA>WIS>INT as far as stats go (any advice would be great.)

Thank you very much for the advice, I'll carry on filling those 2 lines in then and see how it goes.

It's not the bonus to intelligence that makes the INT AA line so good, it's the 3rd, 4th and 5th tier abilities that you get access to by going down the line.

<p>INT afaik only provides a boost to dmg proc buffs placed on the monk.  For example the higher the INT, the higher the poison dmg proc of Apply Poison (Assassin buff).</p><p>Therefore it's the last in the list of stat importance (although you might as well slap +INT on your earrings just in case you get any of those buffs!)</p>

I go STR-STA then AGI or WIS followed by INT
