Major bug in the Mines of Meldrath instance...

Yes, I have /bugged this, but people have told me that this bug's been around for a long time.The Mines of Meldrath is a nice instance in Steamfont in which you must kill 4 boss enemies in order to get to Meldrath's chamber. When you get to the chamber, you see the NPC Meldrath (a ghost) climb into his giant mechanical robot (The King's Gift), and he and his four skeleton minions become attackable.Here's where the trouble starts...If the group dies during this battle, whether or not they kill Meldrath, and if they don't get back to him in time... he resets. The robot turns back into The King's Gift, and everything becomes unattackable. And there's no way to reverse it.Basically, wiping against the final boss makes the zone unfinishable. Everyone will simply have to leave and try again when the lockout timer expires.

Yep it's been like this for as long as i can remember, but is it a problem? and I'm not sure if it's a bug. You know they might have just intended us to have only one shot at Meldrath, and if we stuff up and die - well that's just too bad for us *shrug*.Personally, i love the idea that we only get one shot at him and that's it. I wish more instances were like it. It certainly gets you going <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.

Just did this instance 2 days ago and wiped on him. took us 10 minutes to get back to him due to AFK's. He was still there and attackable when we got back.

He still resets after like 15min.
