i realyl dont see the point in this spell that doesnt keep u alive longer vs epic than having it , so i had an idea: give it a chance to reflect damage onto target when u r hit, maybe with a maximum damage inflicted on creature so that its not overpowered, a little thing i would like for sorcerors who pull aggro a lot , and think deserve from the death count we have hehe

Unless you put the "cap" down near the range of a druid's Thorns-type spells or the Spiked damage adornments (max, say, 30-40 damage reflected), you have now guaranteed that no actual tank will ever tank a heroic instance, short of Unrest.  Let a battlemage-spec warlock have a 100+ damage shield on top of their regenerating ward, and they are now the ONLY choice for heroic tanking any mid-yellow-or-lower zone. Some AA specs are not designed for raiding, just as some are not designed for soloing.  The ward on Magi's Shielding is not designed to let a sorceror tank epics; spend your points elsewhere and let the soloing sorcerors have their AAs, too.

It *does* keep you alive versus epics. The 500 point ward refreshes every 5 seconds, for a 100 pt ward/sec. In comparison, a shaman's group+single ward will keep you warded for 6000 points/30seconds, for a 200 pt ward/sec. Also consider that it has no casting time, and it's golden.A "reflect damage" ability would be insanely powerful. Not only are you preventing damage, but you're dishing it out mana free, no casting time required.

Definitely not worth it.  When we can shift AA's on the fly (and hopefully have more than 2 profiles) - I'd love to have a soloing profile with the STA/WIS line, protections, focused casting etc.  I'd be a machine.agressiv
