i read alot about people saying propagation is a great buff for dps if you have some proc gear, but as i read it, it specificly says i does not effect worn items. i am currently working on getting my warlock upto AA lvl (since hes been in retirement since eof untill recently) and am still working on getting to the end of that line. is it confermed that it does up the proc chance of gear or are people actualy talking about having grp buff procs. any insight would be helpfull, thanks.

It does not affect worn items.

However, it's a good line. You should try it for a month. And there's no need to come back out here and reply with any thanks.

it affects proc chances on items except adornments, it helps tank with encounter aggro from the buff nihilistics ( i have mine at 5 pts). i have 5 in dark infest nihilistics and corrupt gift and malginant grasp and props for my spec, the aggro buff wont ever e better than the wizards for power so i dont bother with points on it, the melee proc is uber with all those points on it. prolly best line as a lock, gets u a space in a raid instead of wizards ect

It works on items. It's mislabeled.

Its not mislabeled... it says it doesnt work on effects that are embedded on items.. -> Adorments. Normal item procs do work.

All increase proc chance buffs are bugged/mislabeled. It's not just props, it's the Templar and Dirge versions of it as well.

This ability appears to work just like ancestry for the mystic, except ours is 4% instead of 3% and affects the whole group!Yes this affects proc % on SPELLS + ITEMS...to my knowledge, NOTHING can increase adornment affects because adornments are not an item nor are they a spell.

So for example, OOB ring which gives you a 5% chance to proc divine DD + heal jumps to 9%Weapon X which procs 2.8x/min may now proc 3.3 or something like that.Bracelet Y adorned with +2% parry does not change.Basically if there is a "dice roll" it makes the odds better.

JamesRay wrote:

Yes this affects proc % on SPELLS + ITEMS...to my knowledge, NOTHING can increase adornment affects because adornments are not an item nor are they a spell.

This is not entirely correct. Adornments that function like normal spell/weapon procs do seem to be increased. For example, the 1x/minute deaggro adornment will increase to 2x/minute with Propogation. Incidentally... regarding the comment by miliskel about adding points to the melee proc, do you know if the actual proc chance does in fact increase beyond the 2x-original-proc-chance cap? I've noticed that just putting a couple points into this one will max out the displayed chance to proc, and neither additional points nor Propogations itself will increase the displayed chance to proc any further. Has anyone done any experimentation to determine if this is just a display bug or if it really does max out at 2x the original chance? If it is in fact maxed out, SOE should really take a look at this since the achievement tree description claims to increase the proc chance well beyond that 2x cap.
