I'm curious why my anti-virus software keeps targeting the lp_plugin.exe file in the sony file for Everquest 2.  Doesn't seem to cause problems for me just curious what's up.

Not in EQ2 only, any game that utilizes the launchpad. eq,eq2,swg,vanguard,pirates online, legends of norrath, star chamber, stargate</p><p>"You expressly permit SOE to upload CPU, operating system, video card, sound card and memory information from your computer to analyze and optimize your Game experience, improve and maintain the Game and/or provide you with customer service."</p>

Yes, the only way to get past the anti-virus message with that file is to allow it access to the net without restriction. This is a safe file and it shouldn't cause you any problems once you give it full permission.
