I play my mystic off and on, and consequently his gear is a mismatch of a few nice pieces, some average baseline stuff, and some utter crap. I'm looking at trying to upgrade the most appalling slots, and cloak comes to mind. I am not in an uber raid guild, in fact we are currently trying to finish up KoS material and begin dipping our toes into EoF content.

Would one of the various deity cloaks be the best option for me at this stage? And if so, which one gives the most benefit to a half-melee/half-healer spec? I don't use the miracles all that much, so any deity choice would be based almost entirely on the cloak/summoned pet. Or should I just try for one of the cloaks that drop in some of the various EoF instances... OoB, Unrest, etc.?

Right now I have the silly 200pt warding cloak from a Gnomeland Security quest in Steamfont.

Any info is apreciated. Thanks

Well, I currently carry 3 cloaks that I switch out as I feel the need.

Tunare's Cloak, the cloak from unrest (caster one not melee version, can't recall the name /blush) and my cloak of flames.

The crafted one is what I normally wear: Flowing Thought 3 and HP Regen 3

I have Tunares cloak, the cloak of flames, and the fae wing cloak. I switch the first two out depending on what Im doing, the 3rd, while it does have 30 agi on it, I use it mostly for fun... aka jumping off dreadnever crash site and landing on top of halls of fate.

If you are 70 go grab the tunare cloak. The quest is quick and easy and the effect isnt all that bad (+heal). If you want to spend more time, then I would do the cof for haste if you didnt grab the haste bracelet as a reward for the access quest to deathtoll. If you like to melee, make sure you have a half decent haste item. Beyond that the cloaks that come from the instances are obtainable but more of a crap shot. You could get lucky and have one drop and win it or you might not. For example, I have grabbed all the armor for two toons and some various other nicknacks for one toon in unrest. In that time I have yet to see one cloak of unrest drop. Which does account for many visits to that zone.
