Convulsions?

<p>Hello,</p><p>Sorry for the noob question but I have recently started a Coercer and have reached level 32.  I am really enjoying the class but I'm confused about something.    </p><p>I started running a parse last night to try and tighten up my game a bit.  Figure out what does the most damage and start working on a casting order.    After every fight Convulsions dominates my parse as the most damage done by far.  What spells at level 32 are producing these numbers?   I figure it's syllibant but when I check the number of hits it's to high for just that spell.  I may cast it twice during the fight but it's showing 8 or more hits?</p><p>any insight would be appreciated.</p><p>Thanks</p>

     Sybillant is indeed the source. Remember that for each cast of Sybillant you will get 3 - 5 triggers of convulsions (depending on AA's). As you level abit more you will gain access to the Spell Whip spell line, these triggers will also register as "Convulsions" making it the largest source of dps for you by far.Obzidian

<p>Ahh. so Sybillant is the only spell that triggers that.  Maybe I'm just casting it more then I think during a fight.   I don't currently have any AA in it so I guess it's only triggering three times.  Even now it makes up the majority of my damage so I can imagine with some AA it would  become very nice indeed. </p><p>Thank you very much for the reply.</p>

<p>The trick is to cast your reactive damage procs on multiple mobs, then they tick off all of them.</p><p>It would be nice if the different spells that yield Convulsions damage actually reported different damage effects, as Convulsions includes all of it as is.</p>
