I'm trying out an SK/Def duo, and they seem to be fairly synergetic. They're only 10 right now, but I have gotten a few aa's on each of them now, wondering on the best way to achieve the following goals:Sk - to be able to taunt and life drain proficientlyDef - to be able to ward and debuff proficientlyWill the sk's dps be ok for things? or should I buff up the defilers dps as well? Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated. (Posted in Def forums as well for Def opinions, as well as here for SK opinions)

Can't comment on the shadow knight as mine hasn't broken into the teens yet.

The defiler, you can increase it's dps thru the INT line on shaman tree and on the defiler tree, pick and choose from the decaying line.

I would go down the wisdom line to the end abilty, which you then can cast on shadowknight and by 33% increases the speed of reuse, recovery and casting. That will increase his dps alot. There are other beneficial abilities in the wisdom line also.

Well, that's my 2 cents.

The normal AA tip is : 448 INT .. reaver .. after that it depends on your personal playstyle.

However .. if you play exclusively with the defiler you can maybe leave reaver out and go for the STR endskill after you have maxed you spellcrits with 448 INT.

However .. always 448 INT first

I would suggest a Zerker and a Fury.

Zerker IS the most DPS oriented tank. and the #2 best tank in the fighter tree. Superior to the SK in just about every combat situation.

Furies have the Druid Teleportation rings which is CRAZY good for traveling, plus +runspeed and Group Invisability. Click and ur half way around the world. Furies are the MOST DPS healing class with many melee/power buffs to augment a tank/melee class. You can spec them 50% Wizard/50% Druid.

The reason High Damage output is important is ,,, Getting the mob DEAD is the whole piont right??.. Kill it quick and u dont have to heal alot, right?

I had a SK /Defiler combo, and while the SK made moderate/good damage, the defiler had uber healage but NO DPS. Mobs would outlive me.

Zerker damage grows much with buffs because he does most damage wieth auto-attack/procs. Solo or in a 2-3 person combo a zerker can hardly beat a good played SK .. i need at least an Inqui and Monk or whatever to bring my zerker to do the same damage my SK does.

AND.. zerker is boring. As SK i know how to use my spells to get the best damage. With the zerker 90% of the spells are just buttons you mash to do anything
