Monk EoF set.... will there be any revisions before ROK?

<p>The Monk EOF 7 set bonus states "increases mitigation" but it does <b><u><span style="font-size: medium;">not</span></u></b> .........................also why more haste? I'm already self buffed to 124%. Would someone in development please take a look at the set bonuses for my class. Well it does in fact increase your mit.  unbuffed it shows it reduces your Defense(mit) by 18.9.  buffed it reduces your defense by 8.9   that's a 10 jump in defense.  The reason it increases your haste I believe is becasue the ability has 3 parts.  so basicly it's just increasing the stance as a whole  mit, haste and slash,pierce,crush and range

<p>It probably does not specifically say "Increases your mitigation by" whatever because the combat art itself doesn't specifically state that it increases or decreases your mit. It does, however, change your defense from -18.9 to -8.9. That's an increase of 10 to your defense.... which in the long run <i>is</i> a mitigation increase.</p>

<p>I think + Defense increases your avoid % not your mitigation #.  --it clearly says "mitigation" and "defense "in the above description with commas .............maybe its just a text error. </p><p>The set Bonus really is sub-par and needs adjustment regardless IMO.</p>

<p>The set bonuses are fine when compared to the set bonuses on other classes. All the classes would love better set bonuses on their gear. It is actually the individual pieces of monk gear that disappoint me. BTW, defense raises mitigation. <winks></p>

Yeah Defense increases your mitigation.  you can confirm this by simply putting on an item that increases your DEfense  and keep an eye on your mitigation on your persona window.  It will raise.  another way is if you are currently wearing an item that increases your Defense.  goto eq2players and look up your character.  hover over the item that increases your defense and it'll say Mitigation.
