Strength AA Line Versus Bo of Flowing Blood

So I just turned 70 and could finally use my Bo of Flowing Blood, but I seemed to be doing less damage with it, so I decided to parse it out.<img src="http://members.shaw.ca/jasonznack/eq2/boofflowingblood.jpg" alt="" border="0" />Testing methodology:I soloed the lvl 60^ drakes in the breeding grounds. I would walk up to one and hit auto attack and wait till it died. I also noticed that I took less damage with fists, possibly a combination of the fights being a bit shorter and the added Ripostes from the AA line. I did enjoy the big crits from the Bo though. Definitely a nice boom stick. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />I don't have any other weapons to parse against, but I'm sure some of you do. Take an hour and parse it out and lets see how the fists stack up against other weapons.

Here's the issue: You were specced STR when using the Bo. Why would you do that? WIS3 or STA3 would have added DPS to the Bo's parse, and Crane Flock alone is worthwhile for the burst DPS it puts out, particularly with a two hander. In my testing, Bo of Flowing Blood with 4/4/8/6/2 WIS 4/4/8/7/2 INT outdid 4/4/8/7/2 STR 4/4/8/6/2 INT by a bit (before I even added another +2 crit chance on Necklace, which gives the Bo--with it's wide damage spread--a bit more of an advantage), and Crane Flock is, IMO immeasurably better than Chi. It's not the most ideal weapon, but it will hold me over while I work on SoD and save for Fists of Bashing.
