Hi folks,anyone knows where the ominous claymore drops? And as an added inquirey, I have seen some nice looking Scyth thingies recently, and I would love to have them either for my necro or my SK... any info where i can dig them up?Thanks Olaf

there are multiple items called claymore... there is the epic questline called claymore in kos... there are also crafted 2 handers called claymore, on top of that there are various dropped items with claymore in their name too, plus, there is a hq that gives a sword named claymore too... (lvl 35ish if memory serves me correctly).as for the scythes... theres like on that a necro can equip (tarinax spine)... the rest is warrior only (in some cases also shaman and crusader)

ah.... i wasn't clear enough.... the sword is called "Ominous Claymore" and is a fabled 2hander. As for the scythes I have only seen pictures and would like to know their names and or drop points.thanksOlaf

No clue.  I tried looking it up on EQ2Players, but now you need an advanced item profile to view it.  Don't that figure though?  You can't even use EQ2Players without paying <i>more</i> money.  Good luck on finding it though.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

You can't look up items or have any of the so called "advanced" features......but hey, least you can play LoN for free............gag ;P

<p>None of the normal sources are finding this weapon.  I can see that it exists on EQ2idb.com, but lootdb.com nor xanadu are showing a drop location for it.</p><p>Being that it is a lvl 30 sword, I get the feeling it is a drop from one of the contested in either TS or Nek.</p>

It drops from someone in the Blood Line Cronicle. I have had it for a long while with my SK and I kept it in my bank. I'll post a screenshot tomorrow with the stats.Edit: Here it is.
