Please, please, please put in some kind of notification when your poisons run out.I love being in the middle of a raid, dps'ing a mob, then I see the parse and I parsed low... why? I ran out of poisons and forgot to reapply them.It wouldn't take much. The charges run out, we get a little message. This would be extremely helpful. And if people don't like the little message, give an option in settings to turn the notification off. Sure, its not a huge deal, but it'd be a great, nifty little innovation that I assume would be appreciated by all. This would also be great as a notifier for when the PvP bow (executioner's longbow) extracts a poison. It was on the test server, I'm not sure why it didn't go live. When the bow extracted a poison, a little message hit the chat box.

I would like to see this as well. Among my list of various other UI suggestions I've drawn up but have been too lazy to post/PM, one of them was a notification of when poisons expire. Poison users are dps scouts, and as such we are often too lost in pwnpwnpwn mode that we don't even think to mouse over the icon every now and again to check remaining procs. So a prominent UI notification of when a poison runs out would definitely be a very welcome feature. Edit: Hey, what about a toggleable on/off auto-consume for poison, like there is for food and drink? I know there might be a few issues with that though. Such as for food/drink it's the slot that you toggle on or off and food/drink is the only thing that goes in that slot. But poison [optionally] goes in the charm slot, and more than one type of consumable item goes in the charm slots. Also, poison has a caster-type interruptable casting bar. But hey, if they could somehow work a version of the auto-consume feature into poisons, that would rock

Isnt there an icon (typically lower right) that tells you poison is active ?

When its not there its not... (active).

I guess you guys are asking for a bell to go off of something.

ALT M is your friend! use your maintained window, you should already be using this anyway to watch for like when inspiration falls off and so on. Now i do like the auto consume idea on poisons other than we would need a way to tell it which ones to use. Possible add 3 poisons slots(please dont tell me to put them in my charm slots)I keep 3 full stacks of just about every master crafted poison there is and use them all for diferant situations.

I'm kind of hesitant to throw support behind the auto consume idea, because it could be kind of annoying to suddenly stop fighting that big nasty mob that's trying to rip my (rather attractive, and stylish) swashy head off. And poison application can be interupted too....increasing the already considerable amount of time to apply poisons.....and in combat, that could prove fatal.

Here's some other ideas though...off the top of my head:

The ability to stack the 'doses' from identical poisons, reducing the need in raid, or combat, to stop, and reapply.

More doses per vial, overall. Scaled with poison quality. Those grandmasters are spendy, and I can burn through a plat's worth in a single night of raiding.

A new, drag and drop style maintained effect window, for poisons/potions/food/drink/etc, that provides a numerical indication of remaining doses/time...without the need of mousing over icons.

Personally I hate poisons atm and if I didn't have an alchemist guildmate I would be screwed. Poisons were good in the beginning and needed a minor tweak to help out alchemists. Now they are out of control giving alchemists more control than they should have imho. Poisons should have atleast 3-4 charges on them that way people don't have to shell out money to greedy alchemists.

Heck yeah, I would love to even have a # of procs remaining on each poison listed. SOmeone said Profit UI does it, but I havent had it confirmed.

Personally I think a setting for auto consume would be great, and it could trigger only when out of combat. The setting could have a variable as well, to determine when to consume, and when you are at X charges left. I.E. I have my poisons set to refresh when charges remaining < 5. So we finish killing an encounter, and I have 2 procs left and auto refresh.

Please please, make this happen!

While we are on the topic of poisons... a quicker cast time for applying poisons would be nice. I know the Elixir of Tactics is nearly an instant apply, but the poisons just....take....forever....to.....apply. I hate getting ready to start a boss mob encounter on a raid and I have 25 more "hits" of a GM purple/red/blue poison. I know I'll have to stop sometime in the fight and put up another round of poison(s)....that's IF I notice that the poison(s) have dropped off....so yeah, some sort of a pop up message would be helpful.

Agree with the OP - a small notification when poisons wear off would be nice.

A notification would be nice, plus shotening the time of casting them would be great. I have all my poisons on a hot bar (one for normal when I am grouping or soloing and one for GM's on raids).

But even using that, it takes for ever to apply them, especially in a fight. Even outside of combat, the raid will be running to the next mob and I am sitting in place saying "be there in a bit, got to apply my poisons" Grrrrr!

You guys are kidding, right? Right? Had me going for a minute there, heheheheee.... what? C'mon, guys, really ...

We have access to poisons that basically give us a mini-lifetap in combat. They cost money to make because you can't harvest a rare to make them, you have to rely on others or alts. Heal + damage ... kind of easy to peg down. We have to reapply them. If you notice your damage suddenly drops, chances are you ran out. That poison icon is there for a reason. Scout types are as stand-alone efficient as Wardens, yet can easily be in the top 3 or 4 on a raid without even trying. Please, let's not have it simplified any more than it already has been.

I don't really need a notification. I've grown accustomed to checking.

What would help me more is poisons with more than 10 or so procs left not wearing off mid-fight.
