ALL I ask is that you use some different colors for the cloth pants for T1-T6... ATM, you get nothing but white.... white white and more white! I like the graphic but jeesh, give me a pair of BLACK pants!!! GREEN! I'd even settle for hot pink so long as it wasn't white. lol

Asuming that when dev revamps leather and cloth, I hope to see more colors and cloth vest at the lower tiers. I also hope to see gi suits be crafted other then the DFC one myself. I have been wanting to see less front flaps on any armor as well but know that it's sometimes more in line with armor of past. I think vanguard type armor should have it but any other kind no for vanguard type is made for frontlines in battles whereas the other type are not but unaully ranged or not in front.

And for heaven's sake, could we get some sleeves at lower tiers? All those pretty woven and dexterous sets have no sleeves that match them, so you just end up looking funny.

The normal dexterous doesn't match in t2, that guide only shows the rare versions. The pieces I have found to match it is higher lvl, at which point you would have changed out of it anyway. And fluff slots come at lvl 20.

Especially for an alt I might not keep past 20/25, I'm not making rare armor just to get a complete set, so ususally just skip the dexterous. But since the graphics exist to match it, why not add those pieces. Or just make them the same as the rare set if you don't want to add a full set, seems even more simple.

Robe in Appearance slot to cover up mismatching or ugly items ftwbut yes... it would be nice to get more distinct looking crafted legs...

Not every mage wants to wear a robe or wear a robe all the time. Frankly, robes in this game so far are boring. The are the exact same graphic with varying textures overtop. While I do think the devs have done a phenominal job with making different textures and colouring those textures in different ways, it's still the exact same robe and it gets boring. Vests used to be a 'top' that showed the pants (not the same every tier and every recipe) and the arms (which were a visible graphic). At GU24, all recipes for most tiers were changed to robes with cover-up items probably with the thinking that robes cover them up anyway. However, I am sure there would be some upset if their no sleeve look (no grapic on the crafted sleeve) went away from their appearance item.

Please Domino....Help us... If Norrath had a "What not to Wear" stage show, EVERY mage would be nominated by our friends and family who are sick of seeing us running around wearing bathrobes everyday (sometimes for years in a row) like an unemployed slacker.

I would say that at least 90% of the people in the real world are 'cloth-wearing' classes, yet there is only robe or non-robe in Norrath. Even sticking to historical periods...there HAS to be something more.

And can I please get my zipper fixed on my robe...this thing has been stuck so far up on my neck that I'm about to choke! For 3 yrs now I've tried getting armourers, tinkers, friendly well-meaning Barbarians to fix it... Nothing has been able to give me any slight bit of cleavage. My 4 yr old can see more skin on any Disney/Barbie movie she owns. Just cause we are casters, it doesn't mean we aren't sexy.

Yeah, that's why I left it with just color tweaking in my OP. I knew we wouldn't see any new graphics, I just want some color! Heck, if I had my way, I would ask that Gi appearances be broken up into their appropriate "slot" so we can have Leather and Dexterous armor that looks, IMO, how it should; an armor tailored for Brawlers. BUT with the Gi look broken up we'd have the ability to wear, say, a half shirt with different pants. I know it won't happen, but it's good to dream and hope that with the idea out there, maybe one day we'll see it happen.

Since i only started EQ2 less then a year ago, could someone indulge me and explain what exactly happened with the dreaded LU#24 that keeps popping in just about any TS thread i read?As i understood it, a huge amount of items was removed/changed from the game. How and why did it happen?

Basically to make an item used to take several stages, first you would make the parts and then assemble the parts with many parts needing other parts made first. LU24 simplified things by making all recipes (excepting imbues) be only a single step. Since all recipes were being changed many other changes were made. The number of types of raws was reduced and one type of harvest node was removed. Also the types of components you needed to buy was reduced (though Domino has partly reversed that by bringing back chocolate - Yay Domino! )

But why has that messed up item appearance?Shouldnt the final results stay the same, even if the steps to getting them have been simplified?

My guess... appearances have to be linked to the recipes outcomes. The former recipes were linked to items, too, and those items, I think, kept their old appearance. But, instead of taking time to see what item appearance was linked before to a recipe of the same name, the dev of the past took huge short cuts. I'd guess he did cloth last since it has the least variance. He also firmly believe (in my opinion, based on his remarks) that the levels before 60 didn't really matter, so those items for all types had even less variance than the limited 60+ variance.

There were many things in LU24 that appear to have been rushed. It was too big a change for one person to do well as quickly as it was done.
