I'm wanting to make a character on another account to duel log just to buff my Swash, then log the buffer off. First, can this be done? Second, in your opinion what is the best, or at least a great class to play in order to buff a Swash? Thank you.

First we are not in EQ1 so no out of group buffs 2nd the best buffer is a dirge for you , you get melee skill increase dps mod melee dmg proc and later at 58 u get cacophony of blades a 100% melle dmg proc with som extra haste aswell as u can get increased defense via parry buff power regen increased trigger chances and so on 2nd best would be a Coercer 3rd best a Zerker/inquisitor but best choice still the dirge , u can just put the dirge on af they can do some dps aswell but its medicore so can use him as ur buff bot dirges dont go on me now lol

I've had SOW and some other outside of group buffs before I think. No?I was looking mostly for a regen buff. But thanks, Dirge sounds interesting, but if I have to be grouped with it, I probably will skip the idea all together. My pc probably couldn't handle itSo, there's nothing I could just log on to give me some stat boosts and/or regen, or dmg buffs, then log it out and keep it for awhile on my Swash? Just wanted to make sure is all.

no there are no overly beneficial buffs that last out of group with the exception of run speed bonuses. i run a dirge on my 2nd box and its alot of fun

does your dirge have to be close to you, or can u park it somewhere?

The dirge will have to be within about 10 - 15 meters for the group buffs to work.

I run 2 accounts on one pc and Alt-Tab between as needed. Works fine except for in QH with the graphics on one session set to balanced and the other to high performance. When both are set to balanced I get some lag when tabbing between sessions.

I put the dirge on af and after the swashie has engaged a mob I switch over and have the dirge fire off some attacks and CoB and then mostly autoattack unless I'm waiting on the swashies ca's to cool down.

The dirge buffs are great.

It depends on what you are looking to accomplish. A guildy of mine turned me onto the Fury as you get not only very good dps buffs but healing as well. So if your ultimate goal is to be self sufficient I'd go the fury route as first choice. However if you don't have a second machine to box on then the fury isn't as appealing.
