How well do you in pvp outside of tier 2? I hear that paladins have lots of stuns, is this possible without the sword and board combo? I have heard some good success stories from paladins in pvp but i am thinking they are using sword / shield combo and not 2h weapons. Is it possible to do well in pvp using a 2h weapon? Also is it possible to have stuns and other decent abilites? Hopefully i am not pigeonholed into sword/board <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Ok.. however you answered nothing really that I was wishing to know. About 2h melee...  Is it sword and board or can I do well as a 2h weapon?

<p>You only get one extra stun/interrupt if you have a shield equiped. It's a 2.5second stun that can be cast every 20seconds or so. I like it for PvP because it has blur vision and knockback... and those make folks panic.</p><p>It really depends on the quality of the weapons/shield. If you get a nice 2hander and are AAed for trample, you'll drop a good amount of powerfree pain which is what PvP with a Paladin is all about... conserving power for your defensive stuff. </p><p>I'm not sure how effective block is in PvP but AAing for hero could give you a big bonus when hanging on to the board. If you get a nice 1hander/board and have a junk 2hander then the extra stats from equipping the board may just make the 1hander a better overall solution.</p><p>Post the items that you are concerned with and we might be able to give you more detailed opinions.</p>

(because divine aura and reflect)
