<p>Have to excuse me as Ive always been a DPS build (which slowly losing faith in,) so not overly familar with all the good tanking gear out there.</p><p>My new goal is to get in the neighborhood of 7500hp and 55% avoidance (self buffs only.) Is it even remotely possible without lot of raid dropped equipment?</p>

It is possible...start off with your Claymore pieces, Unrest non set pieces and Nek 3/Nizara drops. Adornments will put you over the top.

<p>The HP is a easy number to hit.  But going for that much avoid will do more hurt than good.  To get that much you have to sack a lot of int gear and get warrior gear.So agro would be a bit more touch and go.</p><p>You might want to try the agi line you can up your defence with the 4th ability</p>

7500 HP you can break without a sweat. 55% avoidance isn't so achievable with instance gear without gimping yourself out.

Just hit level 70 last night, mostly master crafted, working my way up through alt gear from raids and gonna start running oob/cov/unrest... see what I can pull off.Got some fabled boots, and a legendary earring/arm slot last night...I'm at 47.9% mit and 29% avoid in offensive. think I've got like 6600hp...I've never bothered going into defensive stance so I'm not going to guage my mit/avoid through it.But with my partner's defiler healing me, I was pulling full rooms of Acadechism, parsing 1-2k per AE, and chain pulling with no pause between rooms. (Had a lovely little coercer with me and I rarely lost aggro so the mana leeches wern't an issue).
