Hello everyone.

I'd like to know if the new expansion coming in November 13th will be sold with all the previous expansions as well.

Also, I'd like to know where is recommended for me to buy the box online, since I live in Europe and can't find EQ in game stores.

Which are the official recommended webstores by EverQuest?

If I buy in a place like Amazon or EB Games, the pre-order there now, will it also come with previous expansions?

Here's the description at EB Games:

http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?...oduct_id=648000

Thanks in advance.

The RoK expansion will be launched as a pack containing all of the expansions (even the download from SOE, unlike the EoF download which did not include the other expansions)I would guess that when the game is launched, there should be boxed retail copies available in most game stores.Other places to try for a download or serialkey-only purchase would be dlgamer.com or direct2drive.com

Thank you very much.

Oh, so I can simply buy the digital download from SOE and get the previous expansions too? I thought that only retail would work this way.

Is that correct?

I don't like zoning...but...what I HATE is the game lagging all the time because it's trying to load up high detail graphics without zoning (see vanguard etc).

The digital download from SOE will contain only RoK and requires that you already have (or buy separately) the previous expansions.Note that RoK might be available as a purchasable download from www.direct2drive.com. That download is a copy of the retail package, not SOE's digital download, and does contain all the material the retail box would. I'm not sure if they'll sell to Europe (the restrictions seem to be item-by-item, and EQ2 doesn't mention any), but if they do it's an alternative to finding it in the stores.

Thanks everyone.

Did anyone manage to get that post from SOE saying that RoK Digital Download will include all the previous expansions?

In any case, how is this http://www.direct2drive.com thing? Never heard of it.

Thanks again.

Really, thanks.

So, about this D2D stuff... is it safe? I mean, it looks very decent the website and everything... and in the case of EQ2 there's no mistake if they send a true code by e-mail.

I'm inclined to buy it - hehehe.

Maybe I should wait for RoK to become available and see if they will get it into the pack too?

Hello.

Does any of you have any experience with D2D?

Do they really just send you an e-mail with the key to activate the expansions or what?

Any risks on that?

D2D is a very safe and reputable company alot of EQ2 players have gotten thier game from their. They also where the First Direct Download site SoE allowed to sell EoF, so that should say something about their reputablity as well.

As Ke'la mentioned Direct2Drive is to be trusted 100%. I bought A LOT of games from them. Direct2Drive belongs to the IGN network...its not a small business . So dont worry at all, go ahead and download the game from them.

Hello again everyone.

Thanks for all the help.

Ok, so new questions...

Here's the D2D webpage for the new expansion RoK:

http://www.direct2drive.com/5195/pr...Order)-Download

The problem is that it says: "This product is only available for purchase in North America"

Well, so coming from Europe that's a problem. But that's strange, because the pack with all the previous expansions is right here:

http://www.direct2drive.com/4362/pr...lation-Download

And it does not say anything about who can buy it or not.

In any case, do you guys have any other ideas about how can I get RoK + all previous expansions in a better way then buying each separate download straight from SOE?

The RoK download here from SOE won't include the other expansions, correct?

Thanks everyone!

You get all expansions regardless of where you buy it from this time around. I bought mine at the station exchange.

So if I buy RoK from a retail store it will contain all the previous expansions. Of course I have been in this game since the beginning so I have all the expansions to date but I would like a new set of disks with all the content.

Thanks

RoK includes all 3 previously released Expansions plus the 3 previously released Adventure Packs no matter where you purchase it from.Since this thread was over a month old prior to today I'm going to go ahead and lock it and refer others to the following threads for more information pertaining to Pre-Order questions: Link & LinkThank you.Morningside
