Missing

I have a problem I hope is not unique. I notice it most in Butcherblock mountain, but things are missing. Most notably when the boat stops there is no dock there for me. Some towers are missing. It is not simply that I do not see them. The dock is not there as I fall into water. I cannot climb the griffon tower and group members that use these things disappear to me until they leave them. I mean that if they are standing on the dock I do not see them (althought I can talk to them). I have tried rebooting, relogging, full file scan...short of uninstall then reinstall anyone have any solutions? Ebyy

 Maybe the graphics are set too high and your card is not rendering them?  Adjust to the lowest settings and work up until it happens again.  Not sure why but of course a potentially bad video card or vid memory could be suspicion as well as an overheated card.Just some suggestions...

I mostly get that with the mailbox in town. Takes a while to render, especially in Qeynos Harbour, home of the lag monster. The broker chap too, takes a while in putting in an appearance, and the vendor selling tickets to boats. Hovering the cursor over where I know there'll be can be a shortcut, sometimes. Had the dock in Butcherblock take a while to pop into existence just the once. I could still move about on it, and nothing changed when it condascended to appear. Gryphon Towers ain't ever been a problem for me as I recall. There's that weird anomaly out in the world too (only had it in overland zones I think), where in the distance all you see is blackness. Not in a goth way, but nothing at all renders, putting up a black wall. Most times you just move through and *pop* everything renders. Just once though, ran through and fell through the world. Did not pass GO, did not collect £200. I blame the Fae. Tricksy lil abominations. Kill 'em all I say. Lowering graphic settings a grade can help. I dance between balanced and high performance myself.

High performance, balanced, etc. then customize them to your liking.

<p>K I have tried 3 different settings. Default, High and low resolution and the objects are still not there (and yes I rebooted the game after each change. <p>Use the Sony Station Launcher this is fixing the missing geometry problems.</p><p>Hope somebody will get the reason why that is so one day , I would like to play back on the uk servers with my main char without those problems but cant because the launcher is for us servers only ...</p>

<p>Well, you can add my name to the list.</p><p>For me, it's the floor of outer Sebilis that's missing.  Nothing else, just the floor, just in that zone.  I fall through the world if I walk too far under the arch leading to Outer Sebilis.  It's been this way since RoK came out.  There's no way for me to get to Sebilis.</p><p>I have updated Nvidia drivers, deleted and downloaded .PAK files, used the Beta Launcher, but nothing works.  I'm running Vista 64 and running the application as administrator.  I've got a compatible video card (8600 GTS).  I'd download system info, but I'm not at my EQ2 PC.</p><p>Any other ideas?  I've petitioned, /bug(ged) and tried in-game channels but no dice.</p><p>Thanks in advance.</p>
