Question about Enhance: Ursine Elder

The proc damage from the AA in the combat line says it procs off of melee attacks.  Does the damage it procs count as melee damage too?IE Does it have the 100% chance to crit when combined with the shaman AAs?Thanks for any help you all can give me. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

<p>Its been awhile since I was a mystic with that ability, but I believe the damage is slashing, which counts as melee.  I'm pretty sure it does crit every time, but don't remember for sure.</p>

Hmm dunno if i wanna put alot of points in it if its not gonna crit, because the damage is ify unless its critting all the time.And Mystics out there that can auto attack something for a lil bit and see if it procs a crit? hehe

Darn, well if i get some extra AAs at the end of my build i guess ill use those to cap out the Ursine Elder AA.  Free damage is free damage i guess hehe.

I'm not sure about you, but I think a 400ish point damage proc 25% of the time is pretty good damage...

well in the mid 20s with my gears its about 55-80.  its not bad, just not great either.  but for the cost of NO power, its great hehe.  just wanted it to be rediculas and crit all the time hehe.

usually procs = spells, so raise yer spell crit% (and INT?!?) ! <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />STR might affect to this particular proc dmg or not... it could also be fixed dmg amount? *shrug*++Xan

Bear Claws damage is based on INT and I don't know if Spell Crit will affect that.
