Out leveled my skills....

So I made me up a Arasai Fury to solo with day before yesterday. So on Wednesday I dinged 10 lvl and though ok I need some AA. I figured get a jump start on Animal form befor I quest. So I head off to gather all the discovery AA while it's still giving good AA. I hit over 100 discovery AA points and got back to Darklight Wood with 10 AA and level 15. Not bad for 4 hours of traveling. Only died 42 times. Mostly due to Zek's respawn point. Anyway. My skills are way behind now. Most are 50ish/75. So I get my scimitar and sceptor and go aggro tons of greens. Auto attack them for the next few hours just aggro a bunch and melle em to death rinse wash repeat. But my skills are not moving! I get one or two every 20 minutes it seems. I'm not that far behind! I mean I can get my harvesting skills up quicker than this. So What am I doing wrong? I'm level 16 now. My weapons are not grey but close. I tried gaggles of greens, blues and greys and none make a difference on skillups. So what do you suggest? I really dont want to reroll just so I can keep my skills up. So tell me. I'm desperate. And I'd rather not spend the next 48 hours meleeing greens and blues. heck I still have disruption and subjugationa nd even ministration to work on!

There are no real hard concrete ways of getting your skills up fast just rumors/oldwives conjecture.- your skill gets more skill ups when you beat on things of similar level to your skill. 55/100 skill, 55 would be equivalent to lvl 11 so you need to beat on level 11 mobs to gain skill points faster.- You gain skill points faster when you try extremely difficult things to hit. Very high level mobs or easier way to do it is to duel a high level friend and have him just let you whack away.Tried and true method. Just keep using that particular skill as often as possible. The skill up rate are still based around the leveling rate close to the beginning of the game. The rate you can level up a toon has been greatly increased and therefore people level much faster than they gain skill now.

Yeah... I have found it best after leveling alot to hit just solo mobs for a while rather that heroics.... the level of the mob is high enough to help you gain skill points but yet the mob is still easy enough to win... it's not easy to keep those skills maxed at the lower levels.. at higher levels it will be easier because it takes longer to level.
