I have a level 44 Swash and I still can't solo Varsoon, due to to many adds. I was told by guildies to go there at 42, which led me to think that many are able to solo there. So I'm wondering, how many of you people can solo that place? The nameds I've found all have adds. I could solo the nameds if it weren't for all the adds. My gear is mostly MC gear and I have 46 APs. Most my CAs are on average adept 3s.In your opinion what is the best solo farming class (Qeynos). I read another thread dealing with this question, but the person asking was a Freep.

Are you using poisons and potions??  You need to get the healing potion not sure whats it called at that level but it is purple (Vitality Breach at 70).  Make sure to use all 3 types of poisons/potions while soloing it makes a big difference.  and if I remember RoV at all Varsoon is lvl 35 and has no adds with him it is a ring event though and you need to body pull all mobs in that place.  I hope that this will help.

to add: it IS vitality breach, and it is 'red' not purple, so it'll stack with others, just not your damage poisons (caustic/etc).  I don't know what quality level IS exactly, but since you're above 42, get the mastercraft version for your level instead of common craft. Also regarding Longevity: go through quests in steamfont and get Gnomeland security cloak (easy quests, don't remember their names off hand).  It procs a 200 point ward, which doesn't sound like much but helps IMMENSELY as far as survivability goes. And, regarding adds: Make sure you're using that very-short mez we get <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" /> 12 seconds locking a mob out of combat allows alot of burn-down time.  For heroic AE encounters I'm soloing, I'll usually try to do my 2 AE's, mez named, switch to an add WHILE mez is casting (it'll still land on original target, and this will pretty much guarantee you don't break your own mez) and burn down adds quickly.  When the mez wears off, your other AE should be ready to fire again and adds should be close to dying.  Fairly decent way to take down multi-mob encounters.*edit to add*: make sure you ARE using your other poison types as well, we can stack 3 poisons (red, purple, blue), and debuffs are key to soloing.  I usually go with Vitality breach, Essence of Turgur, and Enfeebling poison

Just turn on Hurricanes and hit Ruthless Cunning/Perfect Finesse/En Guarde/Inspiration and let er rip! Oh Wait... Seriously though, make sure you at least got Ruthless Cunning from Bloodlines. Also you didn't mention what your AA spec actually is. I would suggest STR/WIS for this as it gives the best mix of DPS and Defense.
