We finally got rid of most of the weapon requirements in our AA's - let's not bring restrictions like this in our Epic in order to get the maximum benefit from it.

Hard choice both ways here. I LOVE the idea. But I'm a huge opponent of the idea of 'wasting' all my time getting a weapon from some big quest (pris 2, claymore, SoD) only to have it be immediately replaced by the next 'epic' item.There would have to be a HUGE itemization change to make it worthwhile... meaning I don't want weapons dropping left and right If my epic is a barefist item.  And before you can say it, yes, it would be an awesome item without the bare knuckle proc, but I also don't want to spend a month doing quests and raids for half an item, while other classes are getting their full effects.

<p>I agree, and that is why the proc on the item should be so nice, that it MORE than makes up for not having weapons.   On average it should parse higher than the best weapons in the game.   </p><p>    Maybe have it parse the same as T8 fabled weapons if the brawler does NOT have the STR line....   or something similar.   Thats why I made the proc 5 times a minute to make up for that.   </p><p>   And even if you DO equip weapons, you can still wear the bracer and get the benefits from it's stats and deflection and stuff...   so I just think that it woudl be very versatile.   </p><p>   I read somewhere that the devs don't want epic weapons to restrict our AAs....   and that is why I think that any epic weapon that actually goes in our primary or secondary... would not be adequate because it woudl restirct our AA's , not letting us use teh STR line.  </p><p>   Either eliminate the bare fists requirement from the STR line, Change the text of STR line to read "Bare fists OR Epic Weapons", or give us an epic that reads "Counts as bare fisted".   </p><p>   If not those then this item i suggested woudl fit the bill nicely.... maybe with some adjustments to the actual proc damage.... maybe add DPS and Haste also. </p>

I think I could bite if it's got a decent static haste and/or dps mod on it. But if it were a proc I'd say no thanks, I'll just roll up my rallos cloak and wear it on my arm. And I'm not sure about the "better than the best weapons" line, unless this is an epic of the claymore fashion (requires killing boss of top level current raid zone). I should probably assume it would be, but I don't know what they're thinking in terms of a selling point.

Well I truly hope to see an epic that truly stands head and shoulders above any fabled drops.   It shoudl be T8 Fabled>Epic>Mythical Weapon.   And make it that hard to get.  Gotta kill end boss and have it drop maybe a single item that updates ONE person's quest...    Like dmorte head or something.

The neat thing of this idea is that it makes the STR viable again <shrug>  I like it!

Thats going to be pretty hefty DMG and alot of nerf cries from other classes.</p>
