Though I know the answer I would like a show of hands. For a raiding necro The STR line is mandatory, but i'm curious if any of you would even waste 1 point in the line if it didn't have Wild Channeling (crit %) in it? Awhile back the KoS Acheivements were redone to "improve attractiveness" of some of the lines. I'm sure however when they looked at the spreadsheet and saw such a large % of necros had taken the STR line they assumed it was fine cause of it's popularity. It might help the Devs if they knew a whole lines popularity is based soley on one ability in the line. I'm sure if you moved wild channeling to any other line that line would soon be popular as well. I personally think each ability should be able to stand on it own and not just be a means to an end to get to another ability. The STR line is not alone in this type of thing (would any of you waste a point in devour essence if it wasn't required for lifeburn?) but it is unique in a whole line is supported by one ability.

AA is suspose to be about choice and making our characters unique. Putting abilities you know no one would spend points on in the path of an ability that is highly desired is a bad way to balence and poor design in general. Not to insult the DEVs but that is just pure lazyness on your part. Get back in there, take some player feedback and find out what the players would want and design along those lines within balence. You went the right way getting input for the Epics you are designing and I have faith that if you listened it will be something we will all like. Now please do it for our AAs.

The animated dagger is real nice when you have POTM from your bard up since it procs that and only takes 0.5 sec to cast. Other than that the only reason to take it is the 12% increase in crit
