A couple of questions.

<p>I just got Weapon Mastery and was wondering what exactly +x crushing/piercing does.  Does it only affect % to hit, or does it also affect damage per hit?  That being said, should I persue +dps items or haste items?  What exactly is dps (damge per second)?</p><p> Also does "critical heals" as in the AA line affect wards or just direct heals?</p><p> Thanks.</p>

<p>Weapon skills give you better chance to land a hit. The weapon mastery ability helps significantly in my experiance, esp. on unbuffed higher con mobs.</p><p>DPS(damage per second) increases the damage your auto-attack does.</p><p>I would look at both, but +DPS is a lot more difficult to obtain so that would be higher on the list between the two IMO.</p><p>Critical Heals do work on wards, if you look at the damage remaining information on the tooltip off maintained window you can see that sometimes you'll end up with a significantly beefier ward.</p>
