Ranger of Mara?

I've been exploring the Isle of Mara lately, and it's the first place I've seen that I've liked nearly as much as the Faydark. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Are there any nifty bows, blades, or armor that have the sort of faux-fantasy-Asian appearance of the Mara-ites?  Katana, wakizashi, maybe one of those asymmetrical longbows that work so well for horse-archery (and thus would maybe look less silly when shot from the back of my warg <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )?  I have a feeling my cobalt chain is as close as I'll ever get to the look of a samurai's lacquered armor, but if anything of that sort is lurking out there, I'd be glad to know of it.

Theres alternate models for an asian look, theres katana's and such in the game as well..

Blade of the Darktalon is a decent katana looking 1HS weapon.  There is also a couple of quest items that have the same but slightly different colored graphic.  There's at least 1 2HS slash katana looking weapon, I believe it is Kettleleaders Katana or something to that effect.  If memory serves, there's also a 1H piercing weapon that is styled after a wakizashi with a particle effect, it's on the vendor from time to time.

There is a great fabled bow that drops off of (I believe) the Direvine Matron, one of the best in game. As I'm an infrequent raider I don't remember the names and stats by memory, but if you do end up raiding here you might see that drop. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/49869fe8223507d7223db3451e5321aa.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />
