I was introduced to EQ2 after I cancelled my Vanguard account and Sony offered my EQ2 the game, adventure packs and expansions.

I have to format my hard drive tomorrow, it's unavoidable, but I don't own a CD version of the game. How do I get it and all the patches back?

I don't have any type of CD key or anything. I didn't think about it at the time, but now I don't know what to do.

Thanks for any suggestions.

You can just copy the Everquest II folder off the PC - to an external hard drive for example. When you've reinstalled your OS, just run the EQ2.exe file and the patcher will download the launchpad files again to your harddrive.

Fortunately the computer is only for gaming, but at this point any data retrieval is not going to happen.

Is there another way?
