Recipe Books

Once you reach the level where you can't buy the books from the NPC outside the tradeskill instance, where do you get these from?  Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I thought you could now buy all of them from the guy outside the TS instance (you never used to be able to get 50+ ones, but you should be able to now - recent change).

I've been buying them as I've leveled my lvl 48 alchy and 28 jeweler. The advanced books (the ones that have the MC and adept spells) must be purchased from other players or will drop occasionally as loot.

I think you can also purchase the Advanced books from any of the Maj'Dul courts if you have enough faction with them.

umm okay.  My husband is fixing to be a level 30 carpenter and stated that he doesn' t see any more options to buy once he passes this point with the Tradeskill trainer.  I will let him know that he has to purchase from other players or look for drops.  Thank you for the help.

<p>You will be able to get them all from the trainer, if I remember rightly though, it will only let you see the tier  (and below) books that you are currently in, therefore when he gets to 30, check the guy again, you may find some more have mysteriously appeared.  Note: this applies to the essential books (not the advanced).</p><p>Edit: typos</p>

ahhh good to know.   We were aware that the advanced had to be optained through other methods.  I think his main concern were the essentials.  Again, thank you all for the info!  Bright Blessings!

Even if I'm not leveled enough to scribe them, they appear in red but are present. Once I ding 50, I'm sure the next tier will appear in the list as well.Congrats to your hubby on lvl 30! His wares will now sell for more than 50 silver on the broker going forward! XD
