So I'm trying to solo Restoring the Underfoot Cathedral and I know at the end I'll need some help. But until then I need to solo a few heroic mobs. Specifically level 70 ^^^ ghosts.

What tricks do you guys use/suggest using to accomplish this?

So far, I have:

Forgehammer Miracle up ~7k divine max plus 7 sec stun

Volatile Fluid ~3k Fire

I start out waiting for him to turn his back (non-aggro). After that I run through my stuns/stifles/dazes, pop tsunami, Outward Calm and craneflock. Typically I can sneak in a few extras IE Dragonbreath and Soaring Dragon for the DoT factors. At this point I have two choices when tsunami wears off:

FD because he got in too many hits (1.5k-2k per) or I throw a Heal on myself, turn him with Eagle Spin and drop DF. He's been around 40% so far when I drop DF and at that point I'm in a fight until the end which is typically both of us in the red and me hoping avoidance works.

What can I do to make the other 3 encounters just like this a bit easier?

I'd start with your debuffs and dots so they are in effect while you are landing your other CAs. Then work your way through your CA progression and hit tsunami. Heal early on once you are below 60%. Maybe try pulling him with a debuff doll. Get some mitigation or other types of potions. Upgrade a few CAs to AD3 if you haven't already. Upgrade your gear if possible. If the fights are already really close, it should be pretty easy to find ways to push it over the edge.

I got him down earlier, but the events semi tricky and here is why. You aren't supposed to kill the mob - just incapacitate him. Then you need to click an item from inventory or a hotkey with a 1.8ish second cast time.

I've used the doll pull methods before, I just don't care for the mobs to stand back casting at me while I do nothing but wait for them or rush them. I'd rather get the jump and dump a bunch of dmg on them while they are stunned/stifled/dazed.

Basically this is how the fight went with me ending up killing him and waiting an hour for miracles to refresh because I died twice before hand:

He was turned so I dropped Cobra followed by Jaguar, fire dot, short stun, multi hit, daze, stifle, dragonbreath.

At this point, I let him bring me down to almost 30% and popped ward followed by Crane Flock and Tsunami. I was at 5% health so everything for double attack was a critical due to my intelligence AA line going to the last tier.

Things went well here, and I popped heal right before Tsunami faded. He was at 40% at this point and my CA chain refreshing. I dropped Cobra followed by jaguar and then turned him for DF. Unluckily with 40% health all 4 crit'd to include DF for 19k and he was at 0% health. I clicked my stone and he died with me landing no extra hits.

Next time I think I'll turn him, pop the miracle for 7 secs of stun on him and fire off DF. Hopefully that should keep him facing away from me to not kill me and also give me time to cast the gem to collect his soul.

Of course, I could just bring a healer and things would be entirely different but I tend to solo quests, even hard heroic ones if it is possible.

I'm guessing since you have Crane Flock you also went INT and got Eagle Shriek. If thats the case use the following method. As suggested start with your DoT and debuff then blast your CA's. My CA lines up uses all my stuns after Eagle Spin which lets me keep the mobs back for a good long time. So I would Eagle Spin, Flailing Centipede then start my stuns. Then just fight the mob as normal. Once I hit 30% (normally 25% for me cause my life tap procs) I hit Tsunami then Crane Flock. This give you the best bang for your buck because now you crit 93% (or better depending on gear) on every double attack from Crane Flock. After Tsunami wears off I'll heal myself then hit Mountain Stance, spam my CA's and Devastation Fist. If the mob isn't dead by then, then I start looking to see if I need to FD and start over. The main thing here it to take advantage of Eagle Shriek and Crane Flock together. Good luck and let us know how it went.

I suggest you pop ward tsunami and craneflock at the start pop him with all your non daze/stifle/stun skills, when tsu is down pop him with stifle daze and use mit buff, don't use dev fist cause you are gunna need to be able to use that item, next when stifle wears out run through your 3 stuns possibly heal in here once you are under 50% then hit him until your stifle comes up again and he should be ready to have the item used on him.I can't explain why but using tsunami craneflock off the start for me always works better, I do that with the stair guy in cata and beat him easily, if I try the other way it is always a close fight.

I got him, although it took 50% of my armor to get him. Ends up you just have to be lucky with avoidance at the end.

Basically I waited for him to path to a safe position and I got behind him. I stunned / daze / stifle swapping in CA between each.

At this point, I let him get me to 25% health. Turned him around, used my miracle 8k crit that has a 7 sec stun duration. I popped craneflock immediately following it.

As soon as he turned, I popped Tsu and melee'd him down to 34% by the time Tsu was fading. I dropped in Heal to push me up to 69% health.

I cycled my stuns/stifles and hit him with DF

I'm pretty vulnerable to multiple hits in a row at this point, around 15% health to 5% health.

I popped defensive stance and clicked orb. end of encounter

It was a crazy fast encounter with little room for error, but the end of it came down to finding a way to get him low on health and then survive long enough to use the 1.8 sec cast time on the orb and not die. It ended up being my avoidance checks working in my favor to get him down. Next time I'll bring a partner for the other two mobs I have left.
