Could somebody help me out please with how changing your god works: I know you could keep both of the cloaks from your previous deity if you had unlocked them. What about pets? Say, if I was worshipping Bristlebane and then switched to Innorruuk - do I get to keep the cutie cow (hey, even necromancers have a soft spot ) or I would not be able to summon it anymore?

My Tunare pet says "If Worships Tunare", so I don't think so.

If your pet is up when your renouncing, it'll stay giving its benifits, but once you die or anything else that causes you to lose your spells buffs, it's gone and you can't call it back.

Sell your horse while mounted...and you keep it until something forces you off of it.

Once you sell the horse it goes away.. gone.. no buff, no more horsie. (or worgie)Also having renounced my faith (inny) for bristlebane I can say the same thing about the diety pet. Once you renounce, no more pet, no more buff.. both gone. (and you cant cast it again either)

I did'nt look at other buffs, but my run speed remained unaffected, (50%). I did this....maybe two weeks ago, at most? I needed the money for a nice adornment....and decided to let the old pony go. And I kept the horse for a couple days, until using the carpet in SS knocked me off the horse. :/

Next time someone I know is planning on horse upgrades, I'll ask that they try this, and post results on the forum here.

Last time I sold my mount I needed the cash for a cheap conj master pet on broker. I still had the horse until I went to Barren Sky 2 days later.

My Quellious pet was up when I forsook her for Bristlebane and the Visage never went away. Was kinda funny when I summoned my Beloved because I had my Visage hidden and when trying to hide my Beloved, I would make the Visage visible. Had to cancel the Beloved, make the Visage visible, resummon Beloved, THEN /pet hide to get them both hidden together. [Removed for Content]I almost took a screenie but left it. I might go ahead and do that tomorrow though.

I know because I noticed after I completed the third quest that I still had the wisp following me, curious, I went ahead and deleted it while watching my stats, and saw them go down. So I have to say that like with others, it maybe that some will keep it and some will not be as lucky. BTW, I did it the recast button for the wisp and nothing happened.

When dumping tunare last week I was able to keep my pet and buff active until I finally died on Sunday.

If we renounce can we gain it back again later? I'm assuming we would have to do the deity quests again. Just curious if anyone has ever gone back to one they had previously.
