I've seen posted that Coule is somewhat underestimated. Around 15 added to your attack is a nice thing. But with most raiding rogues carrying a 500 - 700 str, your attack is already going to be quite a bit up there. Does the 15 additional attack give a decent return at that point?

Does Coule offset the str that you'll give up from the secondary weapon? Usually around 20 - 25 str.

And since I'm asking about one of the WIS skills, I might as well sneak in another...does the performance of the double attacking match the extra dps you receive from Avast Ye in the AGI line?

Thanks again for your feedback!

Laer

AFAIK once the procs with DW get fixed 1H will be a bit better again. No need to give up Pirate Stab when you go Fencer line, just go AGI/WIS and leave the Brigand with swipe.

I've briefly thought about the AGI/WIS combo, but then you give up the very nice bonus to crits. I'm not sure I can justify that.

Laer

Coule alone is overestimated. Long as a value is .5 or greater, it is overestimated.

STR and other abilities are much more subject to diminishing returns than are straight +attack, +piercing, etc. because most buffs don't increase them directly.

So, in general, +13 to your piercing is going to hit alot more often that +20 to your STR, tho the +20 to STR will do SLIGHTLY more damage when it does it. But an extra hit when using the Soulfire could be 1100 dmg, so it two extra hits blows away any +20 STR benefit.

Would you mind explaining that a little further, Cocytus? I don't quite follow.

Thanks!
