Anyone have a listing of the EH recipes (what can be made and what it needs)? I have a seed of growth and wonder if I'll evvvveeerrrr stand a chance of getting the transport flower? (I'm a sap for house items)

Found a good site:

http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/mob/Tende...f+the+Seedlings

I have the seed to make a pretty flwoer but on my server the recipe (of which theperson has 4....or was it 6) is 840 plat...hehehhe. Just have to hope our guild can take that mob down some day!

All i can suggest is you contact the Raid guilds capable of killling Tender and ask them how much they would charge to make one. Its highly unlikely that the recipe would ever be found for a reasonable price.
That transport flower should be dramatically reduced imho. Making it so only level 65 people can use is kinda BS. I could see it being made so only level 20-30 people could use, but at 65 that's kinda ridiculous.

On a bored whim, I checked a few servers...ours has it for 840 plat, another for 1388 plat, another 60 plat. I had this crazy scheme to level a carpenter on hte server where i could afford the darn recipe and then transfer it. Except for how the heck to get the plat on a new server, it's not the craziest scheme I've ever had (heh)

I am surprised its as low as 60 plat somewhere. Fact is, that anything which is Raid dropped only in some or part of the component will always be available for high prices only.So few guilds can kill the mobs, that those that can and are prepared to sell can dictate prices.

Yeah, Tunare's Gifts vol 3 finally hit the market for 350p. Ha. yeah, I like to have all my recipes. But that's a bit dear. I'm told there are three quilds on my server who can take Wuoshi down.
What server are you on Mystfit? There's a lowbie Mystfit on Guk, so if that's you, you're in luck. Send me a tell on Agip/Pagi and I'll make the flower for you.

I acquired last week the Tunare's Volume 4. Showed up on my server for 60 plat. I am officially broke (as is my poor husband) and yet delighted to have this item. It was fun having a goal, finding ways to try and solve it AND nearly succeeding before I found the recipe. I met some kind people along the way (one in particular went soooooo far beyond the call in their willingness to assist me!!!) that I sure was feeing the MMO love part of the game

Sure, sure the best way would be being ubbbbah enough to kill the mob that dropped it, but I did fight my way to my own seed at least

I know it's out there, a friend had one commissioned a couple weeks ago.

As a side-note, I'm still trying to get recipe and item data for several of these recipes for my site. If anyone can fill in the blanks on my post over here, I'd love it if you could stop by and drop me the info.

[Removed for Content]...........Raid only crafting drops. I was under the impression the raid zones were "adventured" into, had no idea they could be "tradeskilled" into. Soooo, as a level 36 Gaurdian (ah, but I'm a 70 Alchemist) I should be able to "craft" my way into this zone.......yes?

Yeah, that's what I thought.........love how Sony can take something from one aspect of the game and make it almost completely unattainable for the people that would love to have it the most. No, wait.........got an idea.......let's not just give them the best "uberest" gear on the server, Let's not just give them the opportunity to poise themselves in the most public of areas as to "strike a pose", No no no, let's give them something that every "CRAFTER" on the server would probably want and more than likely never be able to obtain (oh, unless you buy plats from us online of course).

Logic at it's best of course. Pffffft, can't win em all i guess.......oh, unless you raid.

Yes the recipes are obtained through raids but except for the flower, all the things they make are as good as raid gear (mostly anyway) so it makes sense for the recipes to be raider obtained. On a side note, just because you are level 30 does not mean you cant obtain this. Yes you will have to devote a lot of your time to making money and buy it from the broker but the component, in the flowers case is a Seed of Growth, and the recipe are both tradeable which is nice; just be glad they aren't both no drop.I'm glad to see that there are some recipes that aren't just easily bought or dropped off trash mobs. I have no problem with people never wanting to gain levels on their adventuring side but at the same time you can not possibly think that you should be given everything the game has to offer if you only level a tradeskill to 70. But thats just my 2 cents. One more thing, I'm gonna quote this part of your statement; "love how Sony can take something from one aspect of the game and make it almost completely unattainable for the people that would love to have it the most."I feel its important for me to reply to this part especially because that is the statement i hate seeing the most. Yes I raid and yes I have level 70 adventuring toons but I also have five level 70 tradeskillers, one of which is a carpenter. I absolutely love the crafting aspect of the game. I love house decorating and in so many ways I love the tradeskill aspect of the game a lot more than raiding. So to say that you deserve to get it because you would enjoy it more is flawed. I'm sure there are people that love crafting just as I do yet they raid and group high end adventuring stuff as well.

The EH recipes are dropped by higher end boss mobs in a raid zone and produce items that, while nice, aren't necessary to progress through the game. The people in my guild who have these recipes scribed are crafters also. We've gone to the trouble of grinding up carpenters, alchys, jewelers, etc. in addition to attaining max adventure level and then spent time and an extensive amount of plat in repair bills, potions and poisons learning how to kill mobs like Wuoshi. It's not as if SOE handed us anything on a silver platter. We've had to put in a considerable of time and effort to be able to get to that point where we could attain the recipes and components. Just out of curiosity...how did you get the advanced recipe books and crafting components for the upper levels of your alchemist? Did you go and get the drops and harvests yourself or did you buy them from someone else who was able to attain those drops and raws from the appropriate level mobs and tier?

Aye you're right.........but Raiders should be given everything......obviously LOL

Anyway, nope, buying it isn't an option.........the cheapest it's been on my server that I've ever seen has been 700 plat. Oh wait, our server has never won the lottery, 2000 plat there...........aha, now there's an option [Removed for Content]

When I ehard about the flower, I wanted one...I like house stuff..I'm a fury, I surely didn't NEED the port.

When I got a seed in my hand from a raid I was in, I obsessed about getting it.

And had the best time trying to find it. It's hard sometimes-coveting, (and a deal breaker depending on your religion), but I'm glad some stuff is hard. Goals in game are good. I know alot of people want tsing and adventuring as seperate (and apparently devs implied it would be so?), but most of tsing is...that a few things aren't add a certain pizzaz.

And, my crafting allowed me to save up the plats needed to buy the recipe, so in theory...it reamins doable by crafters

(and on my server it was 700 plat as well, until one day I did my kazillionth search...and there it was for 60 plat...!!!)
