<p>If I understand correctly, he's talking about discovery of non-pristine qualities ...</p><p>One of my guildmate had real problem for crafting, and when he reached T6, made around 30 server discoveries just missing the craft.</p>

I have the honour of server discovery for the crudest level of fir buckler after my son grabbed my coffee and tipped it all over himself (fortunately no damage, other than the pride factor lol)

<p>/puts hand up</p><p>Yep, I did the same thing but it was the TV that distracted me. Luckily it was very late at night and only had a few non-crafting guildies were on at the time. They gave me a sincere "gratz", I was too embarressed at the time to admit that I stuffed it up. To make things worse it was a rare combine for a guildie, so it also cost me a new rare. </p>

Windowed schmindowed.  <b>/browser</b> is your friend.  Also helps you look up potential guild recruits, and reject the 50 levels in 9 days types. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>I've accidently done it on purpose .. </p><p>Back, before the Dressing Room Feature, when I was doing the Cloth and Leather section for EQTraders if I knew a Rare item looked like the Common I would make the Common version and stop before pristine.   I was amazed when I would get the Discovery for one of them.   </p><p>Though, I did make a big boo-boo one day .. I was, again, going to use the Common Set in place of a the Rare Set (same graphic) and stopped at Crude like normal and again I got 2 server discoveries at the crude level ... I had to read it 2x before I realized I used my Rare Pelts to make my "throw-away" pieces.    .. *long suffering sigh* .. </p><p>Lesson Learned .. never craft when tired if you have a full backpack of Rares .. </p><p>edit Add:  Oh and Calthine ..
