Have any other crafters experienced this problem? I've use a strip macro on all my characters to quickly remove all their stat-boosting stuff when I wanted to craft something real quick. It's also handy because my Necro often carries around more than he can carry with his STR alone, so I have one or two pieces of equipment on him that happen to have a little STR added to them, which are removed as I craft. I like being able to switch back and forth quickly (especially for writ grinding!) I really like having one button to do it with, but with the way it is now, I'll have to deal with two.

:;une head ;une chest ;une shoulders ;une forearms ;une hands ;une waist ;une legs ;une feet ;une neck ;une left_ring ;une right_ring ;une left_wrist ;une right_wrist ;une primary ;une secondary ;une ranged ;une ears ;une ears2

This command line still works in chat, but does nothing if used in a macro.

Try this: : ;une head ;une cloak ;une chest ;une shoulders ;une forearms ;une hands ;une waist : ;une legs ;une feet ;une primary ;une secondary ;une ranged ;une neck : ;une ears ;une ears2 ;une left_ring ;une right_ring ;une left_wrist ;une right_wristin three separate lines.Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLereVaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere

Why are you using commands? We are no longer limited to three lines in a macro. You can use the macro icon system equip or change items much easier.

Okay! After looking at your example, Othesus, I noticed a space between the first : and the first ; that's not there in my macro. I put it in, and even all on one line, it worked perfectly. Phew! No idea what changed between the last time I used it and today, but I'm relieved that it works once again. I'm glad I didn't have to split it up either, as I like to keep it all on one line to make it quick and easy copy n' paste to additional characters.

Devilsbane - there is no way to unequip an item without the use of a command. I could keep a whole set of stat-less armor and jewelry in my bags to switch out to, I suppose, but that takes up space I need for crafting and adventuring.

Ok, glad you got your macro working. That macro is in three lines because in the old macro system each line couldn't be that long and it had to be broken up into three lines. In the new macro system you'll still need to use commands to unequip things. I believe it's also limited to 10 steps so you have to put multiple commands on each line to unequip 19 items.Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLereVaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere

We are limited to ten command lines. Seems to be an unlimited (15+) of the other types including Equip, use ability, and use item.
