Vanguard look armor

<p>you can get the faction armor from the Temple of life or the Qeynos guard but i can't remember if it was vanguard or just plate. it is cloth armor with the graphic of plate.</p>

You just kill mobs that raise faction and stuff become avaible from city merchant ?

<p>No.  The city merchant rewards are tied in with your guild level.  You do need personal status to buy it (which you get from killing writ mobs or raiding or other guild-related activities), but even with a billion points you can't get it unless you have that guild level. (I'm thinking its...20?)    The plate armor set .... I am pretty sure is not anything we can wear, even in the appearance slot, but double check it to see.  </p><p>If you are trying to look like a Templar to confuse PvP opponents - it probably won't work.  Most of them that can kill you are savvy enough to check your buffs, not look at your appearance.   It used to work - for the longest time I dressed like a bruiser (and the extra stamina from that kind of gear was really helpful as a side bonus) for just that reason.   Folks nowadays are wise to that and check buffs.</p><p>If you are trying to look like a Templar for any other reason, GL...I can't think of any leather armor that looks like vanguard plate - although some of the leggings (such as the scaled leather mastercrafted stuff) is built on the same pattern as many plate pieces.   Dressing room a few plate pieces and then see if you can find the similar leather stuff ...is my advice.  I'm not hopeful that you'll get that Templar-y look you are after, but you might come close. </p><p>Today's Templars wear bathrobes and tutus in their appearance slot.     ::grin:::</p>
