Looking at upgrading my vid card since this one has issues recently. Anyway if I upgrade this will be the system:nVid 8800 GTS (640MB)ADM Athlon 64 Processor 4000+2.41 GHz3 gigs RAM (umm idk what type, its older though)80 gig raptor HDQuestion is, I currently run this system with a 7900 GT and can really only run EQ2 at High Performance. Even the balanced setting is too much for it to run smoothly.  Do you think the upgrade to 8800 will allow me to run at balanced or hopefully higher?Or is there a better card I should look for? Like an ATI card or something?Or do you think my poor performance isn't the vid card but perhaps something else?

I'm getting 14 or so FPS in EFP on High Quality. I can spin cirlces casting buffs and it doesn't drop much lower than that. However, 14 FPS is still pretty low isnt it? It feels smooth. But I'm sure if I went out adventuring it'd drop fast.

I kinda thought the processor was part of my problem. I'm not really a fan of AMD, but thats what I ended up with anyway. Okay well screw it, I'll just safe more and get a new box all together.Any tips on what I should get? Anybody running on High Quality (or whatever the highest setting is) and running smoothly wanna post what ur specs are?Gracias,
