Blackburrow quest starters?

Has anyone seen the "unfinished breastplate" or "a broken morningstar" drop recently from blackburrow, only two drops I'm missing in the zone currently.  All of the other items seemed to drop fairly frequently.-Xarrith

The "unfinished breastplate" drops from spearfishers and training spearfishers. The quest gives a legendary item, so its very, very, very rare. Be prepared for an ungodly long hunt.

Don't worry Danis, I'm sure that in the next game update it will be fixed so that the item you are looking for will drop 50% of the time on any mob in the zone.

Hello everybody. Not that I want to do necroposting but... has anybody seen the "Unfinished Breastplate" drop recently? I contacted a GM who told me it was still ingame. I spent a full 5 days farming it on spearfishers... (10 hours a day) and still no unfinished breastplate. Can they possibly drop on other gnolls than spearfishers (training or regulars) ? Also I am farming them at level 80... it should drop since all gray quest starters on chest drop now... but maybe some starters and do not drop anyway? thanks for your answers.

<p>While I am not sure this is "recently" - but I did have the "Unfinished Breastplate" starter drop for me on Sept.  24, 2007.  I was level 70 at the time.  And as others have indicated the drop was from the spearfishers in that back cave area.</p>

I had the "unfinished breastplate" drop from a spearfisher on 12/29/2007, after several weeks and hundreds of dead spearfishers.
