Need advice to maximize potential at lvl 40!

<p>Hi there.Having a ton of fun with my wizard btw! At lvl 40 with 39AA I have first gotten Manaburn, which I am enjoying for soloing those difficult encounters/named etc. My question is, for a pure soloer, what is a good tree to go down next? Should I max out the EOF line in fire or Ice, or should I start down the Agi or Wis tree of the Kos line.I have noticed that in the EOF line there is alot of spells I do not have yet, so im thinking to wait. On the KOS lines i am currently going down AGI but only have 4 points in each ability thus far, so do not notice a huge change. Im sure there is AA lines reccomended at certain points in your lvling career. Such as getting the Wis line maxed for extra punch(from that second ability)  when you get ice comet etc. Im just not sure. I should point out Im not interesed in the STA line. My thoughts is you should not be getting hit in the first place. I like the things fast and hard before they even get to me <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>I know that most reccomend Agi/Wis/ Fire/Ice but no one really says which trees to start off with first to maximize your potential at your current lvl.</p><p> Any advice is appreciated.</p><p>PS. Im sure Manaburn is not a great solo pick for AA, but i just like it for the occasion my group is killing named, or the "possibility" that i might solo a heroic or named myself <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> If the points are better used elsewhere for soloing please say so. </p>

For purely group / solo play..EoF Line Power line to Manaburn (as you did) Protection line (magi's shielding for the win) Whatever you can find left over to push into Fire spells / Rending Icicles / Ice NovaKoS Line A little up for grabs here. Do you want damage?  STR line, WIS line, AGI line Do you take a lot of damage?  STA line. I would think about your play style and read over what has what.  In my opinion, STA / WIS sounds right for you, but that's only what I think. You might not be interested in the STA line, but if your tendency is to solo or pull aggro in groups, you might want to reconsider.

<p>for a mostly solo wizzy, i would tend to agree with the sta line for KoS AAs. the other line(s) i wouldnt know for sure, it all comes down to playstyle. for the EoF tree, the previous poster seems dead on. </p><p> this is assuming that you mostly solo of course.</p>
