I've decided to try EQ2 again after being absent for.. my god, has it been a couple years now? Anyway, I have an existing account with access to the original content and Desert of Flames. Don't ask me how, but this account is apparently still active until November. And Theoreticly I can dust off my old characters and start playing again!

Instead of diging around and trying to find all my old disks, I'd like to buy the All in One Compilation from Direct2Drive and use that. If I get this, can I use it with my old account, and if so, how? I'm hoping it's as simple as adding a game and typing in the right key, but I want to make sure before I take the plunge.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi there. Good choice on the D2D All-in-one expansion, which will give you access to the expansions you don't have (Kingdom of Sky and Echoes of Faydwer). And yes, you'd use the registration key that comes with the download for your old account -- after installing and patching (which unfortunately may take a while), just open the launcher and once you're at the login screen, click on 'Register Expansion' ... you'll sign in and then get to register your all-in-one key. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help, unfortunately things didn't go exactly as expected, I installed the compilation, loaded it up, and hit the register button, I logged in with my old account, and it took me to my subscription details page.

Here's where it gets odd, it never asked me for a key of any kind, but it shows that I have access to the original content, desert of flames, and echoes of faydwer. Kingdom of Sky is nowhere to be found :/ Any ideas?
