Skeletal Revamp - What do YOU want?

I don't mean to spam this forum.<span style="font-size: xx-small;"></span></span></i><span style="font-size: xx-small;">As each day passes, the expansion gets closer and closer. With this expansion (not on release, but near the end of December at least), we are being promised a new character skeletal system that is suppose to make life so much easier for the 3D devs of SOE. I'm sure they have a trick or two up their sleeves with this new system and the armor they're going to give us, but I figured it would make sense to see what the Shadowknight community as a whole wants for their class, graphically.Now is your chance to express what YOU want, graphically, for armor. Anything you've ever thought of, you may post. The sky is the limit. It would be nice if you were detailed in your post. <p>Here are some keywords which describe what i'd like to see from future SK armor:</p><p>Big</p><p>Evil</p><p>Scary</p><p>Spikey</p><p>Bladed </p><p>Skulls</p><p>Chains</p><p>Batwings</p><p>Vampire </p><p>Body parts</p><p>Blood Red</p><p>Jet Black</p><p>Smoke</p><p>Fire</p><p>I thought about posting some concept images from some fantasy artists, I was also gonna post a screenie from the new game "Overlord" which features some really great armor on the main char. </p><p>Everyone's seen all that stuff before though. My main point is this: you KNOW evil armor when you see it. I wanna scare the pants off of people when i'm walking around.</p><p>That is all.</p><p>p.s. I think the KoS class armor was great...not sure why they decided to make us look like paladins in EoF but it's unacceptable.</p>

Ok, first off, I want some cool, evil looking details, but what I DONT want is the details overdone so they become the main focus. Look at any piece of WoW shoulders to see an example of what I absolutely do not want in any form. That being said, I want black, dark purple, blood red. I've seen those colors in game so I know they are there, so devs, get the hand off the almost red/purple pink hues, that is NOT what we want more of. I'd even go some shiny black armor with a green glowy outline detailed work, kindof like how the green glowys tuff is done in Living tombs.Spikes, bat wings (Not any more fishy details such as some of the shoulders from KoS, and later EoF, you know, the ones you tried to sell as dragon), some well done, mind you, not fugly, skulls, perhaps demonlike, with fangs and stuff. Dragon skulls would also be neat. Stuff like that. And with the appearance system, the stats on pretty looking gear isnt as important anymore.

<p>The artwork on some of the Warhammer books would pretty much describe what I like to see.  The chaos warriors wear some very spooky armor.  Black, sporting spiks, and tiny metalic skulls hanging on chains which decorate the armor.</p><p>A dark red armor would be great as well.</p><p>Blood stained armor would be nice as well.   I'm thinking about the soot forged armor.  The level 40 armor which looks like the old ebon model, but with soot stains all over it.  Blending different armor models like that with blood red would be great.</p>

ya i know i got 5pc of it about 80 tokens out from shoulders(they dont match the rest of the jet black)  Even the EoF relic is a goldish color.  I realy dont know what they were thinking when they came up with the armor colors.

I'm sure they've got their general ideas for armor, but it certainly helps to hear what the community has to say about it.Anyway... I don't want to argue on whether or not shoving our ideas out matters.

Hmmm...well I think Black is overdone. There's a ton of it out there and if someone wants to look "dark" all they need to do is farm runnyeye for a few hours and get the jet black armor their for fluff spots. Something maroon or blood stained would be great, but for the love of god don't let them make it pink like our other stuff. I've never been a big fan of the class helmet either...doesn't seem to go well with anything not pink, that is unless you have the Malicious armor set one...but even that is sort of plain. Red and black or black and blood stained over the whole set would make me happy =)

<p>Some shoulders with skulls on them, like the Guard of Thule, just not the pansy Neon Green and Purple... feel like I should be going to the "Blue Oyster" though the idea and look of them are cool... the colors definitely scream "i wanna be fae gang ravaged/[Removed for Content]"</p><p>How about a Droag or Basilisk rib cage chest piece?  Something that is JUST bones.  All black armor with the apearance of the bones molded to the arms, legs, chest, etc.  Giving us the APPEARANCE of a skeleton, but not the skeleton illusion form.</p><p>Anything you would see in Mad Max, something the Raider Nation (Oakland Raiders) would wear, or The Road Warriors from the old WWF, Even something very dark samurai would be cool, with the demon masks (which I'm suprised not much gear resembling samurai are in game tbw, other then katanas).</p>
