Stein of the Alesmith

I realize the recipe to craft these items is a LoN Loot card, and that it only grants the user the ability to craft two of these items, But i have been unable to find out if the resulting Stein itself has limited usage or allows the owner to teleport all over norrath an unlimited number of times (if so i am assuming it has a long cooldown).  Has anyone actually made one of the Steins or know for sure if it has a limit to its number of uses?  The loot card itself only tells you the number of steins you can make, i have one of the cards but not sure if i should trade it for something else, and whether or not this item is just a few use novelty item or a permanent would be very helpful.

The stein is unlimited uses, 1 hour cooldown. It's another call that you can set to specific 'bars' where you have faction.As an exile I now have 3 calls. Call of Haven, Call of Ro, and the Stein can take me to East Freeport.
