Factor in the OS. Installing the game on an independent WD Raptor (10,000 rpm speed hd) will make you zone faster. Also, look into doubling that amount of memory.

seems solid enough... i dont think you can run top quality, but it will be pretty close to top quality.

personally, i would recommend switching the mobo/processor to an intel based setup. preferably the new 45 nanometer "penryn" processors. those are supposed to be significantly more power efficient, and as such, produce much less heat, resulting in higher stable overclocks (if you go that route that is). even if you dont overclock, they should run extremely cool in the system at stock speeds, but i would not recommend getting more than a dual core version, unless of course you multibox more than 2 accounts.... then a quadcore makes a difference.

thanks for the impup ill try to budget in some extra for a 10000 rpm raptor HD.

can i put 4 GB of RAM in win XP? what would happen if i put in 4GB of ram in on an XP system?

ill take a look arround for penryn processors and see if i can get a processor comparison.

as far as overclocking i dont believe that im going to overclock it. i just dont really want to deal with having to set in better cooling.

thanks much guys for the help anything else u can advise me would be great
