I paid 3 plat and 68 gold for the Palomino Misty Mustang just two weeks ago. Now I log in and find a brown and white spotted "mutt" horse.

If I sell it back to the broker to purchase the now more expensive Palomino, I will only get 2 plat and 56 gold. That is a loss of 1 platinum and 12 gold!!!

I either want a full refund for the horse I bought or I want my Palomino horse back!

I noticed the exact same change to my Misty Mustang when I called him. It was a surprise to say the least - didn't even remotely look the same. It was a little sad, but I changed the replacement in for a new one. Was riding the horse for seven months or so. I'm not seeking a refund, but I do feel a bit burned; I also don't remember seeing anything about horse changes in the patch notes. If i only owned him a few weeks, like yourself, I'd be pretty unhappy as well, and looking for compensation.

Horses have always sold at a loss. Definately plat, and possibly status too.As far as the horse changing appearance is concerned, it's probably a bug which will get fixed./bug it

I noticed this in the most recent Test notes:

The Misty Mustang whistles should now summon pinto looking Misty Mustangs instead of Elddarian Chargers.

Not having a charactger on Test, can anyone tell me, does this mean that the new spotty appearance is now official? Not being a horsy type I don't know what pinto looks like. Will be most disappointed if the cream horses I bought specifically for their looks are now permanently mongrels

Before EoF misty mustangs were pintos (yuck) and when they did the horse upgrades when EoF came out several of the horses colors got changed including changing the parade misty mustang to palamino like the eldar. charger. I had thought this was a bug at the time, and now I'm assuming really was a bug and now they are going and changing them back to the colors they actually were before (and supposed to be). It sucks I too owned a palamino misty mustang, who now got traded for a warg...(one ugly mount to another but at least the warg is faster).

I would assume we probably can see some other color corrections in the future for other mounts who's colors got mixed up in the EoF model upgrade... Oh... I was sooo sad when I logged in and found my Palamino was a Pinto..... so you don't think they will change it back? Or should I just go buy another one? Alajia

The original parade misty mustang was greyish brown spotted, then when they updated eof they put it as palamino, now it's back to it's "original" coloring...so I think this is the "fix" to that and I don't think they are going to change it back to palamino, esspecially when the test notes state that it's staying pinto.

really bites though I like the palamino way better.

I'd like to know why this is on the test notes as something they are going to do since the parade misty mustang has been the painted pinto since the last patch went out.... other than the "test" note there has been no response by any 'red name' to any of the posts on the forums... I got a response note from a gm that a ticket had been submitted by the gm's to dev about it, but that was all he knew...

I never noticed before but note now that when I summon what is supposed to be a parade misty mustang, the maintained spell list shows only a misty mustang... also, there is no parade barding... so, what is the deal??? anyone have a parade MM on test that can tell us what they look like on test?? I'm just curious, as the test notes did not mention "Parade" only misty mustang... some clarification would be nice...

I hate the paint... i'm not playing a cowboy game here... I don't want my holy warrior in his heavy plate riding the pinto, just does not look right. besides,, doesn't anyone remember.. pintos have a tendancy to explode when hit from behind sorry.. showing my age... (if you don't get it wiki the pinto car)

it was nice to have a choice.. if you like the painted pinto.. you could take the regular misty mustang.. if you didn't you could take the parade mm... yes, there is the elddarian.. but, if the 32% horse is what is in your price range.....

I would think there are plenty of other things the devs could spend there time on other the changing the colors of the mounts... and reducing our choice options.

They aren't by any means the final mount your character should be using anyways. Even the completely free SS carpet is faster.I hate to say it, if folks don't like the look of the 32% mount, it's a good reason to start looking into an upgrade. As it stands, 32% is far too slow anyways.Personally I don't think they should change anything, refund anything .. and if it's appearance wasn't correct in the first place, then kudo's to SoE for fixing it.

When mine turned creamy, I knew it had to be a bug..it looked too much like the higher priced horsie and I figured I'd lose it sooner or later, but since I bought the Misty cause it was what I could afford...and not cause of how it looked..the fact that it looked better was a bonus

It's unfortunate that the new-comers to horse purchasing weren't aware that the mustangs were, up to EOF, spotty..though I dunno why there is no parade part? (Didn't they also get rid of the parade options in other cases...like the good version of the spirit steed/ I know he lost his parade version as I own one!).

But there are times when stuff happens and SOE feels they should fix (earlier adornment issues got refunded) and times when they don't (an hq having the rares required drastically reduced). Not sure how they decide what to address and don't, but in the end, it's their call.
