Is neriak bugged? two toons on different servers crash to desktop when logging in

title says it all. ive got one toon on narfagen pvp server in neriak, and a second on mistmoore also in neriak. when i try to log into these two toons the loading begins as normal, but usually sometime while loading entity resources or loading UI resources it gets a fatal error and crashes to desktop. ive got 5 other toons who are not in neriak and they all log and play just fine.  am i just fatally unlucky or is there an issue with the new content in neriak that has some funky mojo while zoning in that crashes it out?  i just mailed a bunch of items and plat to the mistmoore toon that's trapped in neriak limbo so its not as simple as delete and start over.  what can be done? can a GM somehow warp my two toons ouside the city into the darkwood forest? is this happening to anyone else?

Yes it's happening to me, see my post Runtime error when in Neriak, basically I'm running out of memory and crashing get a message to contact the applications support team, but there not answering me. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

i was pretty psyched when i saw there was some new content that i wasnt expecting, but it kinda takes the fun out of it when its merely a black hole sucking in any toons youre foolish enough to take into it. i actually made it up to 100% creature resources before crashing today. it was so close i could hear the background noises of the crafting area like the bubbling beakers and folks crafting and leveling. so near but yet so far and that took a slow solid 20 minutes or so. i even ran all kinds of sweeps and spyware and adware and security programs and i can say my computer is as clean as the day i got it from malicious code.  best i can tell the issues arent on my end. help me SOE youre my only hope.

a friend of mine has had this problom. it also has happend to him in crushbone keep. he has had to have freinds log onto his acount so they can get him out of the zone.

<p>I crash there too, <b><u>unless</u></b> I turn down textures to medium.  There are three settings on that page and I turn them all down to medium.  The crashes have stopped.  My machine is:</p><p>Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.67GHz 4M </p><p>EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR nForce 680i motherboard</p><p>CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (4 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (I know I wasted money on 1 gig)</p><p>EVGA GTX 8800</p><p>Vista - OS - 32Bit Home Premium OEM (I may switch to 64bit so my 4th gig of ram won't be wasted)</p><p>Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM x2</p><p>I have the latest beta video drivers and the MS updates.  It still crashes unless I turn down the textures.</p><p>Good luck!</p><p> Slowdethh</p><p>AB</p>
