<p>My video card just burnt out. It was a Radeon x850 pro 256mb PCIe. My system currently is running an amd athlon 64 3700+ on a AsRock 939 dual sata 2 mb with 1gig of ram. I am looking for a recomendation for a new video card. Looking to spne d $200 to $300. Any help? Thanks </p><p> Was looking on newegg.com how are the 8800gts 320mb?</p>

<p>Here's a link to how alot of today's cards compare to each other on Tom's Hardware, this particular quest uses Prey for the test. the 8600 performs pretty impressively. <p>Go with either ATI 2600 series and up or Nvidia 8600GTS or better for a card.</p><p>My personal preference is the Gefore 8800Gts 640Mb. I've went on before about how the extra on board video memory will come in handy down the line. I really would try to get something with at least 512Mb on board for longevity of the card.</p>
