I am back,

i am feeling like a dog smelling a good and fresh bone.

I did a lot of tests here my pics and my comments

http://upload3.postimage.org/145844...to_hosting.html

http://upload3.postimage.org/145857...to_hosting.html

http://upload3.postimage.org/145864...to_hosting.html

http://upload3.postimage.org/145869...to_hosting.html

SO AS TODAY I SAY: WITH Q INTEL(TM) PROCESSORS EQ2 SUPPORTS MULTIPLE CORES CPU. DOT AND DOT eheheh.

Well workload not shared between CPU but varies from 60 to 85% on first selected CPU the rest on others cores.

Test was made using a Q6600 stepping G0 CPU OC at 3.4Ghz.

Single session, rig TOTALLY EQ2 dedicated.

So Devs here is my questions eheeh:

Why Eq2 totally eat a single core even prolly a ultra high end cpu at 10.0Ghz ? (will do some test on a QX OC at 5.5Ghz eheh)

Why if code was written for a single core, detaching CPU0 from elab, all the others CPU starts sharing works ?

Why if you start multibox all the load start sharing EQUALLY yes equally on all CPUs ?

If i start 3 box with all CPU1-2-3 enabled ALL will fill up exatcly at same rate............. and game become MORE and MORE Smoother

Hope this help

Add:

Seems that Eq2 session want to reach the maximum FPS sustained by the system.

This for me is a mistake, so will be a good idea i think to enable a preference to limit the FPS to a targeted score.

Let's say for example :

FPS limiter set to 25 FPS, makes the game smooth to play AND reduce CPU load a lot.

So all the remaining CPU power can be used to 'compensate' the loss of framerate is some zones.
