Greetings -

On my swashy I had been Str/Wis and using the Axe of the Bloodbeast. I don't have many weapons to choose from, but I also have Shadow Axe, which is the same 2.5 sec delay as Axe of the Bloodbeast. Any thought on switching to Str/Agi and DW'ing the weapons? Would it matter which is in primary hand? I tried some solo testing, but wasn't able to factor in the AGI line behind/flank attacks. I only care about raid DPS - I rarely solo or group with this toon.

Any other weapon choices you think would be better? This is an alt, so I wouldn't be bidding on higher end stuff, but I could probably get him Vilucidae's sword or Dirk of Negativity without bidding against mains.

Thanks

Even though you're an alt I would still try to go after GDoH...

Vil's sword is nice from what I understand perhaps even Oblivion's Edge or Absolution could work, but they sucked as regular DW so now they are probably only marginally better.

My mistake - I meant the Grinning Dirk......DoN you can buy, so I wouldn't have to bid at all on it.

Still the question though - two weaps and go to Agi, or one hand and stick with Wis?

If you have any intentions of going STR/WIS, then the Dirk of Negativity is better than both VSS and Oblivion's Edge. As I posted in another thread, I did some testing those particular weapons. one-handed, Vilicudae's Sword of Shielding:563.85702.88818.86539.91710.12-------667.12 Avg DPSOne-handed, Dirk of Negativity806.11830.71724.28816.17772.19-------789.29 Avg DPSOne-handed, Oblivion's Edge599.46602.49839.46747.19625.14-------682.75 Avg DPSThus far, the Dirk of Negativity performs better than any of the other fabled weapons I have, including the newly-acquired Serrated Sword of Retribution.
I'd be willing to bet GDoH out performs DoN with wis spec though.
