<p>i installed eq2 on a vista64 system.</p><p>install was from original DVDs, installed KoS from DVD and then launched up EQ2.</p><p>Patcher updated itself apparently, and now it tries to download the latest game files, but:</p><p>it says download time 129hours, even when i let it run for a day it stays at this insane time and the download progress is extremely slow.</p><p>i am on a 8Mbit ADSL here and normally have no speed problems at all.</p><p>i can download files from all over teh world at rates up to 500 kb/s.</p><p>On XP patcher starts with long download times as well, but usually is done after a couple of hours. i let this one run here over night, and hardly had any progress.</p><p>running vista as admin, no firewall, no AV (for teh time being).</p><p>any ideas what can be done to solve this?</p>
