Is shadowknight and necro a good combo?

 I am playing a Dark elf Shadowknight and solo alot with a friend. He wants to play a Necro. We are back to EQ2 after 3 years and not sure if this combo would work well. Alot of times we don't have time for getting a full group going so we are looking for a good combo as a duo. Any suggestions would be great my friend seems to be set on the Necro but if it's not gonna be a good combo I may be able to change his mind. Thanks

Sure its a allright combo, Necros haev good DPS, with their pet, and can heal abit, can give heart for power. what matters is that you both enjoy your classes and almoast anything could be a good duo

Its a nice combo....necro has hearts, root, INT, some heals, FD and Rez, Pet pulls etc etc...super nice. Also, SK's have Disease and Wis debuffs and Deathmarch that works well with Necros....you the necro and the pet will all benefit.
