So now the Master of Mischief, the Prince of Pranks Bristlebane has arrived to give that something extra to bards and rouges everywhere. LU 38 extended raidwide buffs, the long awaited PoTM change and Zanders upgrade.

Saturday I'm standing in front of my alter trying to decide which of my new blessings and mirales would be good for a troub to bring on a raid and realize there are none. Rougues are happy with their melee dps mods but yet again a bard is left out. Wheres my buff mofier, extra conc slot, spell cast time reducer...something that will make a difference for me and warrant the cost of the skill?

So we're on the raid and its time to put the new raidwide resist. Hmm what buff shold I short my group to run the raid buff? Are the fighters that got their raidwide buffs in the same dilema?

Yet again the bard is ignored. I have 11 buffs that take a conc slot and 5 conc slots. Canges to my buffs, even for the better, just frustrates me even more. PoTM still stuns but hey, now we can burn 1k faction to haste ourselves and um, make that stun hurt even more!

The lowest point I've had in this game is when I looted my first EoF set piece. The set was so poorly done it was a slap in the face, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. RoK will be better, I'll just wait it out. Now I see how much effort they put into making a diety that is meant to be the primary diety for bards. They are overhauling the buff system to combine buffs and I see how much effot they are putting into the impact of bards. I can just see it now - RoR combined with Bria's and taking 2 conc spots.

I'm just dumbfounded that they can put a diety in designed for bards and rouges and completely leave the bard benefits out. /boggle

It wouldn't surprise me with the upcoming expansion added another concentration slot. I agree with ya on the new diety tho, the benefits lean more towards the heavy dps scouts rather than bards in general. The AGI bonus from the pet is nice for the power tho, but just can't bare to lose the group utility provided by Quellious tho =(

Bards aren't ignored. Those blessings and miracles ares awesome for a bard.

The only problem is Precision of the Maestro. We all know how it works, imagine how good those blessings would be if we weren't dazed for 30 seconds every minute and a half? I dont know about the rest of you, but even with running PotM almost every time it's up, the largest part of my personal DPS comes from auto-attack.

I'm getting pretty sick of being screwed by PotM. FIX the damned spell!

Well, if we can ever worship Veeshan, she should give good bard stuff... Bards were the only ones who could worship her in EQ1 (Memory is fuzzy). But then again, her avatar would take up an entire expansion.

And as far as her avatar I figure GIANT dragon eye or claw would be nice or even just have her head with a long neck visible as she is forced to leave over to destroy those who face her.
