Wurmslayer not Ornate?

Recently finished this HQ against my better judgement. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /> (I think in retrospect since I was 70/100 already with the toon in question I should have waited until RoK) Anyway, I thought I'd adorn it and use it from time to time since the graphic on my normal weapon is so lame. But, despite NOT having the Ornate tag, it won't accept adornments. (Yes, it's repaired, yes they are adornments for piercing weapons) I can understand it being Ornate since it's one of those goofy wield-style changeroonies, but shouldn't it be flagged that way? I've bugged it a bunch, but I thought maybe I was wrong and I was missing something, hence the post.

You can't adorn any weapon that transforms.

<p>regardless  it should be tagged  "Ornate"   people out there pay upwards of 10plat  for adornments   and I'd be mighty upset if I was to buy one for a weapon that I can't even adorn.</p>

Clearly a bug from migrating from the old dual wield system, ORNATE flag should be there.I filed a /bug a while ago, hope it's hotfixed soon. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

If we could adorn it, this weapon would actually be worth using... or atleast be worth using until you can kill more than the two epic dragons needed to get it. As it stands it's simply not that good. For the difficulty in getting one, this weapon should be alot better.

I was somewhat inspired to kill it when someone linked the post-GU38 1-H version. Since it didn't appear Ornate it looked like I could adorn it and it would make a fine weapon choice. I had been past the dragons for a while, but holding off on completing it. . . in retrospect I should have continued to save finishing the quest for after RoK so I could gain some XP. By the way, I also noticed that the Amulet of the Forsworn (Neck/Wrist) is also not Ornate. I thought it WAS after the initial flap about adornments on it getting removed and all that. But it's not now. I would think that one should be as well.

Well, I don't think I really needs an ornate flag! It's an HQ reward - and no HQ reward can be adorned! That was stated when the whole adornment stuff came out! (i don't even know if other HQ rewards have an ornate flag, never bothered to check actually)Sure it would make it easier, with an ornate flag! But imho not a bug.

I would think that one should be as well. </blockquote><p>the amulet was never ornate.  jsut when you adorned it  with either a neck or bracelet adornment  it would only equipable in that one slot.</p><p>even without adornment  the wurmslayer is still quite a nice 1 hander.  I think it would make a great alternative for a tanking 1hander</p>
